This can't miss event for product safety, compliance, regulation, quality assurance, and chemical management professionals brings the industry together for a day filled with the latest insights on today's rules and regulations.

Eurofins USA as sponsor will be leading a round table focused on the topic “Safety at the Ports “. This forum will be moderating by Benny DeVito, Eurofins North America Softlines and Leather Global Sales Director. The panelists and experts in charge to discuss this topic are Sabrina Keller who is the Office of Import Surveillance Deputy Director U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Yaniri De Leon, Compliance Investigator for this same public institution.

The Fashion Institute of Technology will host the event organized by The American Apparel & Footwear Association. This session sponsored by Eurofins will take place at 11:50 am - 12:35 pm  and will review best practices including how to get your products through the port  efficiently .

• Observations made by the panelists may help you understand where challenges lie and how to avoid pitfalls.
• Looking at all factors at play, gain insight on what can cause a cargo hold at the port, how you can avoid it in the future, and what to do to when shipments are delayed for product safety concerns.
• Special guest port investigators will join this session to provide a show-and-tell of equipment used at the port and how incoming cargo is inspected.
