Asbestos Survey
Eurofins Maritime Services (EMS) provides certified asbestos surveys in compliance with SOLAS Regulation II-1/3-5.2 and the IHM guidelines as defined in IMO MEPC.379(80).
Our asbestos surveys identify and document asbestos-containing materials on board vessels, ensuring full compliance with IMO and IHM requirements, regardless of flag state or classification society.
EMS supports asbestos surveys for newbuild vessels, existing vessels, change of flag inspections, pre-purchase inspections and ship recycling projects. Surveys are carried out by experienced and certified surveyors using internationally recognised procedures.
Where required, samples are taken and analysed by ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratories, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
