Senior Finance Director / Group Investor Relations

SUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES:

  • Investors relations: manage investor relations initiatives and activities to develop and enhance Eurofins corporate reputation and engagement with the investment community (investors, shareholders and bondholders)
  • Lead, coach and develop the finance teams under his/her scope, including attracting & developing top graduates & high potentials to become the next generation finance leaders

 

POSITION & OBJECTIVES:

  • Monitors security analysts research and earnings estimates, relative stock price movements, and periodic ownership analysis
  • Manages ongoing and productive dialogue with analysts and investors to promote a better understanding of Eurofins value proposition
  • Manages IR conferences and road shows, investor tours, meetings and conference calls, including targeting, outreach and relationship management
  • Assists in the development of key messages, Q&As, publications, presentations and media used in the IR program, as well as senior management presentations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information of the IR section of the corporate website
  • Maintain and proactively develop other key IR management tools such as the IR contact database, consensus analysis, peer group analysis
  • Manages the production of the corporate Annual Report in liaison with Group Reporting & Accounting and Legal department
  • Participates in crisis communication preparedness initiatives, including data collection and analysis, drafting, editing and support
  • Recruit, promote or develop talented leaders for all Eurofins companies, Business Units and Corporate functions under his/her responsibility

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 

  • Masters’ degree in Business Administration, Finance or Engineering from a leading university; MBA is considered a plus;
  • Analytical mind and strongly numbers driven: able and keen to analyse, understand and interpret financial figures, attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills - spoken and in writing – Eurofins’ working language is English
  • Good project management approach and ability to effectively deal with crisis situations and stress
  • Open and creative mind with proven experience in developing and using a wide variety of communication tools
  • Easy communication with a wide range of different audiences; effective listening skills and ability to capture and interpret signals
  • Natural and confident with a willingness to work in a team
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Financial Analyst, in-house IR Manager or IR consultant.
  • Working knowledge of European regulatory obligations, with direct capital markets experience and in a major financial market.
  • Project management skills, preferably experience in setting up and implementing internal and external communication processes
