Its Group Service Center is located in Brussels (Auderghem), and we are looking to expand our team with a:

 

IT GROUP CONTROLLER

 

Summary of the role and objectives:

  • Maintain and improve group controlling tools in cooperation with IT division
  • Is responsible for improving group reporting mainly based on existing IT system
  • Is responsible for IT Solution & IT Infrastructure division
  • Develop and improve existing reports and controlling tools within a group – budgeting, forecasting
  • Optimize Group financial & business controlling processes & activities, in order to improve, simplify, standardize and/or automate management information, reporting and KPI’s
  • Manage projects and/or take part in the implementation of Finance IT systems and tools in Group Service Centres in order to support & automate controlling activities & reporting
  • Take part in business initiated improvement projects as representative of Group Finance
  • Integrate with CFO and CEO as well as report to the Head of Controlling

 

 

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Master’s Degree in Finance, Economics or Business with an excellent academic track record
  • From 5 to 7 years of experience gained as an auditor, financial analyst or controller
  • Good technical / conceptual understanding of finance processes & systems
  • Proficient in Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint
  • Able to complete quality work on a timely basis with attention to detail
  • Positive forward-looking mind-set with ability to anticipate needs, prioritize competing deadlines and take initiative
  • Proven track record of handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, with all levels of the organisation
  • Strong interest in IT/ERP systems
  • Knowledge of Cognos is a big plus
  • Team-player with strong interpersonal skills who can also work independently
  • Multilingual: strong command of English with knowledge of other European languages
