FSMA Compliance Courses
Eurofins Food Assurance's food safety trainings provide you with practical approaches and tools to help you to meet the increasingly complex and demanding regulatory compliance required of your facility.
- FSMA Preventive Controls Qualified Individual Training: The Current Good Manufacturing Practices, Hazard Analysis, and Risk-based Preventive Controls for Human and Animal Food regulation are intended to ensure safe manufacturing/processing, packing and holding of food products for human and animal consumption in the United States. The regulation requires that certain activities must be completed by a Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) who has “successfully completed training in the development and application of risk-based preventive controls”. PC Human and PC Animal Food courses developed by the FSPCA are the “standardised curriculum” recognised by FDA.
Successfully completing these courses is one way to meet the requirements for a Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI). These courses are taught by Lead Instructors trained by the FSPCA, who have been instructed on how to teach the FDA-recognised standardised curriculum. Find more details and training dates here.
- FSMA Produce: This course is designed for fruit and vegetable growers and others interested in learning about the FSMA Produce Safety Rule, Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs), and co-management of natural resources and food safety. Find more details and training dates here.
