Expanding our portfolio In Denmark and Austria: EAS Group
The start of 2013 brings some new additions to the Eurofins Agroscience Services portfolio with two new facilities founded in Denmark and Austria.
The Danish facility is located in Middelfart, in central Denmark and will be managed by Karin Frederiksen. Karin is an experienced study director with over 25 years' experience in the agroscience industry.
Karin has enjoyed a varied career working initially in the seed industry in Germany and then progressed to working on GLP (residue, soil dissipation and ecotox) and GEP (insecticides and fungicides) plus variety trials.
In Austria, the facility will be headed by Nikolaus Mohreschild and located in Graz in the south east of the country. Nikolaus has a wealth of industry experience combining his agrochemical experience with several sales and marketing roles. He has a strong agricultural background and brings a wealth of industry contacts.

Potato Blight Demonstration 2013: EAS Group
It may seem some time away based on the current winter temperatures, however it is time to start thinking about the late summer potato blight demonstration day.
In 2012, late blight conditions nationwide were the highest since 2007. With trial spaces already beginning to fill at this early stage, we hope to see even more interest in 2013.
In 2013, we will run trials in Lancashire, Pembrokeshire and two sites near Derbyshire with the potential for an additional trial site in Ireland depending on the level of interest.
