Change of name announcement; Hamburg, Germany
Please kindly note the following changes regarding our GLP organisation - In order to further integrate our Hamburg Test Facility into the Eurofins Agroscience Services Network, effective from April 1st 2011, the name Eurofins Dr. Specht GLP GmbH changed to Eurofins Agroscience Services Chem GmbH. EAS Group website; new address and content
The EAS Group website, formerly www.eurofinsagro.com has migrated to the Eurofins parent website as part of an ongoing brand consolidation across the wider organisation. The new website address is /agroscienceservices.aspx - please do pay a visit to the site. The ecotoxicology section has been enhanced over the last few months and now offers a wealth of information on our services in that area.

Change of location; EAS Kft (Hungary) and EAS Srl (Italy)
Our teams in Italy and Hungary moved to new facilities during March / April - in both cases, the new facilities are bigger, well situated and better equipped to provide you with the service and quality you expect from the EAS Group.

Environmental Science Services
Following the launch of our enhanced Environmental Science Services in April and the recent PestEx 2011 event in London, UK, please find a link to the full update of this news and a PDF of our service portfolio on our website.

CIR "credit impot recherche"; EAS Sàrl France
April saw the renewal of our CIR "credit impot recherche" system which allows our French clients to pay less in tax when they contract work to EAS Sàrl. This covers all of our French EAS Group locations, Eurofins ADME BIOANALYSES - our Agroscience laboratory based out of Vergeze and also, applies to work placed via parts of our German organisation too, please contact us for more details.

Successful GLP inspection; EAS Ltd, Wilson, UK
The Wilson facility in the UK successfully passed its recent GLP inspection which was conducted in early May. We are proud to announce that we improved on the past inspection.

Successful US EPA Audit; EAS Inc, USA
EAS Inc has just successfully completed its first US EPA audit. The auditors visit reviewed multiple trials and spent time in Georgia visiting both the Jeffersonville facility as well as office in Forsyth. No significant findings surfaced on any of the projects. Continuing compliance and improvement is our priority as we continue to maintain a high level of commitment to quality.

Global - Biotech Services update
Our partner laboratory, Eurofins Scientific (Des Moines, IA) has recently completed all of the method validations required for compositional equivalence testing of soybean, corn and their forages. This battery of methods includes approximately 30 individual nutrients or analytes. An external consultant has also been hired to ensure that the facility fully complies with GLP requirements by identifying any gaps in the current quality system and performing process audits. The laboratory is now performing assays on evaluation samples from clients and pursuant to clients' acceptance of the evaluation samples, the laboratory will begin performing assays on study samples.
