Monday, June 29, 2015
Eurofins Agroscience Services, the leading global service provider for agrochemical testing, is pleased to announce the successful acquisition of Trialcamp SL located in Valencia, Spain. Spanning a history of over 20 years, Trialcamp has developed a GLP and GEP accredited portfolio of test systems covering lab, semi-field and field studies in the area of ecotox as well as efficacy and residue trials. Moreover, the company is well-known for its expertise in post-harvest trials.
The move to a new building in Alcàsser in January 2015 has been a major leap forward for the long-term growth plan. A highlight of the 3400 sqm facility is the new ecotox lab which boasts 18 state-of-the-art climate controlled chambers with over 600 sqm capacity. Trialcamp will therefore become the centre of competence for Eurofins Agroscience Services ecotoxicology studies in Spain and will integrate the activities currently conducted in Canals.
The CEO of EAS Group, Klaus Kügler, says: "We are pleased that Trialcamp is joining our global team. With its commitment to quality and new lab set-up, Trialcamp will further strengthen EAS's offering in Southern Europe."
