Indoor Air Comfort - pan-European product certification

Eurofins "Indoor Air Comfort" (IAC) product certification is an innovative tool for showing compliance with low VOC emissions requirements of all relevant European specifications on two levels:

Standard level "Indoor Air Comfort - certified product" shows compliance of product emissions with all legal specifications issued by authorities in the European Union.

Higher level "Indoor Air Comfort GOLD - certified product" shows compliance of product emissions with the voluntary specifications issued by all relevant ecolabels and similar specifications in the EU.

A certified product can apply for whatever other label on basis of the test report as regards emissions into indoor air. But Eurofins "Indoor Air Comfort" certificate may be used as such - e.g. in countries and for products where no public low emission label exists. Background

Indoor Air Comfort combines all European regulations on VOC emissions from products - just by copying together the most stringent requirements in any EU country into one label. A product labeled with Indoor Air Comfort will comply with the limit values as defined by all regulations in Europe.

Indoor Air Comfort GOLD combines all relevant European regulations and voluntary labels on VOC emissions from products - just by copying together the most stringent requirements in any EU country into one label. This makes Indoor Air Comfort GOLD the most ambitious low-emitting label in whole Europe.

Indoor Air Comfort and Indoor Air Comfort Gold include more than testing. These programs include an internal quality program at the production site for ensuring continuous manufacture of low-emitting products, on-site audits, re-testing and certification - all together giving a very high level of reliability in the statement on VOC emissions.
