Eurofins Product Testing - Panel Testing

Why Panel testing ?

  • to assess the performance of a product
  • to carry out comparative studies
  • to complement physico-chemical analysis

Eurofins Offer

  • Panelist recruitment
  • Panelist Training
  • Olfactory panels
  • Softness panels
  • Efficiency panels
  • Example: kitchen tissue softness panel

trained panelists test the characteristics, which make up the "softness" perception on a paper - in blind test, in order to avoid the bias due to other aspects of the paper (colour, decoration etc.):

    • each item is assessed and compared to a scale of references made up of comparable products
    • the softness panel rates the product regarding softness of the paper, delivering indicators for development or improvement of the product
    • the sensorial characteristics of the product are rated in a controlled environment
