The Group Executive Committee (Management Board) carries out the Group's strategy and handles the day-to-day business.
The Group Executive Committee is made up of the following members:

Dr. Gilles G. Martin (44)
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Eurofins Scientific Group, graduated from Ecole Centrale in Paris. He subsequently obtained a Master of Science from Syracuse University (New York) and a PhD in Statistics and Applied Mathematics. Founding the original Eurofins Scientific Nantes food authenticity laboratory in 1988, Gilles Martin expanded this company of 12 employees into a global bioanalytical group of over 150 laboratories. employing about 7000 people in 29 countries. Gilles Martin is an international expert in his field and is committed to innovation and economic development. He is a past president of the French Association of private analytical laboratories APROLAB, of the North American Technical Committee for Juice and Juice Products (TCJJP) and of French public bodies supporting innovation and entrepreneurship.
Dr. Matthias-Wilbur Weber (39)
Chief Financial Officer and member of the Group Executive Committee of the Eurofins Scientific Group. Chairman of the supervisory boards of GeneScan Europe AG and MWG Biotech AG. Dr. Weber studied Business Administration in Germany and England and received a PhD from the Technical University of Munich. His PhD thesis was dealing with the application of portfolio and option pricing theory to diversification and investment decisions. After his studies he worked as a Project Manager for Coopers & Lybrand and Deutsche Bank. Prior to joining Eurofins a number of years ago, he was a Vice President of an american consulting firm.
Mr Xavier Dennery (43)
Group Executive Board member and head of the Environmental business Division within the Group. Mr Dennery was previously Development Director for Southern Europe and has been with the Group since 2005. He has extensive experience in the Environmental sector. Before joining Eurofins he was CEO of the US Division of Teris, a global leader in hazardous waste disposal, where he was for seven years after having spent six years at Rhone-Poulenc, a Life Sciences Corporation. He has worked for some time in Japan and mainly in France and the USA. Mr Dennery is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique (and has a Masters from the Ecole des Mines in Paris).
Mr Jos Lamers (44)
Regional President Food division, with responsibility for the Food & Feed operations in the Nordic, Benelux, British Isles and Southern European markets. Before joining Eurofins he was with Numico for 14 years, filling various functions. His last position was Director Metabolics in charge of Numico’s worldwide metabolics business operations. He has a Masters degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Wageningen (Netherlands).
Mr Luc Leroy (43)
CEO of Eurofins Pharma Services in charge of the Group’s laboratory network serving the pharmaceutical industry. He obtained a degree in Applied Economics from the Catholic University of Leuven and initially worked in banking at ING and investment banking at GIMV/GIMVINDUS. Since then he has worked at SGS in various positions including Managing Director of the Benelux and France Lifesciences operations and most recently as their Managing Director for the UK
