Eurofins Medinet laboratory in Singapore receives accreditation from College of American Pathologists

Eurofins Medinet’s Central Laboratory in Singapore has been granted accreditation by the College of American Pathologists (CAP), based on the results of a recent on-site inspection. The laboratory’s director Dr. Stanley Tam was recently advised of this internationally recognized achievement and congratulated by CAP for the “excellence of the services being provided”.
During the CAP accreditation process, inspectors examine the laboratory’s records and quality control of procedures. CAP inspectors also examine the staff qualifications, the laboratory’s equipment, facilities, safety program and record, as well as the overall management of the laboratory. This stringent inspection program is designed specifically to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
Eurofins Medinet Singapore has been proven to meet a wide range of pharmaceutical industry regulatory requirements such as the laboratory quality assurance standards of CAP and the National Glycohemoglobin Standardization Program (NGSP) Level 1 certification. Eurofins Medinet commenced the construction of the facility in November 2006 and obtained its operational license from the Singapore Ministry of Health in early 2007.
