Kinases are one of the most widely-studied and productive drug target classes, with over 20 years in the spotlight for drug discovery research. As members of a family containing over 500 related proteins, profiling candidate compounds for their kinase selectivity is an important aspect of kinase drug development. The competition in this field to find the next breakthrough drug remains high and the requirement for quick assay turn-around and high quality profiling data remains as strong as ever.
Eurofins Pharma Discovery Services brings together a range of services and expertise to rapidly advance the progress of candidate molecules through the drug discovery pipeline. This webinar will highlight the services and other tools available for kinase research, and will include an update on some of the most recent enzyme activity assays developed for the KinaseProfiler™ service at Eurofins. Researchers now have access to a more extensive list of validated kinase assays, including several unique targets, from which customized panels can be designed. Results can be used to assess both compound selectivity and potency. Many of our kinases are available on more than one assay platform, allowing us to support HTS campaigns, lead optimization and preclinical development programs. The presentation will also introduce other key services in the portfolio that support off-target profiling and further characterization of lead compounds.
