Eurofins Agroscience Services offers a full range of environmental fate and metabolism services, both field and laboratory
We can provide clients with data on the mechanisms, route and rates of substance degradation and risks these pose to human or environmental health. All studies are planned and performed by a well experienced team of scientists and technical personnel according to the recent guidelines (OECD, ISO, EPA) and guidance documents.
We have a well equipped lab with climatic test chambers to simulate various environmental conditions and we have a license to handle 14C labelled test material. The laboratory is equipped with radio-TLC and –HPLC, HPLC-UV. GC-MS, HPLC-MS/MS.
The intrinsic biological activity of pesticides poses potential risks to operators, consumers and the environment.
No risk, however small, can be considered acceptable unless there is a proven benefit from the use of the pesticide. The fate and behaviour of pesticides and their degradation products are of critical importance to Regulatory Authorities. For a full description of our services, please click here
