Eurofins-GAB GmbH (Niefern) – Building progress update

As many of you may already know, we are in the process of building a brand new multi million euro facility at our Niefern site in Germany. Based on the experience acquired over the last few decades, this will be our group centre of excellence in Ecotoxicology and will vastly increase capacities in that area.

The building work is progressing well; In addition to completely new laboratories, the Niefern site will also be home to three new climatic chambers. Operating to the highest technological standard, these chambers will provide highly constant climatic conditions for studies on beneficial insects and also will allow increased capacities in the future.

Eurofins-GAB GmbH (Stade) – Strengthening our portfolio

Following on from the recommendations and requirements of local clients in Germany, we have invested in additional irrigation equipment at our facility in Stade, Germany. This will enable the facility to conduct local irrigated, inoculated potato blight (Phytophthora infestans) trials which duplicate the existing design and practices in the UK.

In the next couple of months, the same equipment will be purchased for our Polish facility.
