Soil Characterization Studies

Following a successful pilot validation study for soil characterisation with Eurofins Jäger, EAS Group can now offer GLP and non GLP soil characterisation studies in-house. This service covers all the relevant and necessary parameters such as cation exchange capacity, particle size analysis, soil density, total nitrogen etc.

Eurofins Agroscience Services Srl, Romania

In February 2010, Eurofins Agroscience Services Srl moved into a new facility in Timisoara, Romania and welcomed two additional staff; a full time agronomist and a technician. This new facility of 400 m² and the additional expertise allows Eurofins Agroscience Services Srl (Romania) to develop and expand its capabilities following a successful launch in 2009.

Eurofins Agroscience Services Ltd, Thailand

In Thailand, the new Pesticides Act is now in the implementation phase with 27,000 product registration certificates set to expire on August 22, 2011.

The first version of the Pesticides Act which required commissioning of re-registration trial work under the auspices of the Phytopathology, Weed Science and Entomological associations has now been revised and companies are allowed to organize the trial work themselves under the supervision of the DOA.

Now the contracting of trials by the agro-industry is therefore possible, I’d like to bring our services and capabilities to your attention. Eurofins Agroscience Services Thailand was established 2nd January 2010 and offers a full portfolio of services as a CRO to the agrochemical industry. Field trials are carried out at a new research facility in Takhli and throughout the Thai Peninsula.
