REPORTING TO: EAS IT functional coordinator in Luxembourg

OVERALL OBJECTIVES

Ensure deployment of projects in the agroscience business line aiming to promote Group best practises and use of Group information systems.

SPECIFIC ASSIGNMENTS

• Develop, Deploy modules of the future legacy software (C#, WPF)
• Support legacy software (ASP, C#)
• Participating to the data migration and bridging of the current legacy software with the future legacy software
• Act as a technical partner to implement new tools and best practices for Business Units or functional departments of the Agroscience business line
• Develop  and Support queries(SQL), Document Templates (MS-Reporting server)
• Test and Qualify new tools according to expected functionalities.
• Transfer knowledge to Level1 support as appropriate
• Create and maintain level 2&3 technical and operational documentation that describes program code, logic, changes, and corrections for assigned functions.
• Provide continued level 2&3 support for select functions

OTHER ASSIGNMENTS

• Ensure follow-up to his Manager and Team Leader on a regular basis and as often as requested.
• Acquire rapidly a working knowledge of Eurofins EurIS systems, starting with EASSM, eSM and Eurodat5.
• Deepen that knowledge on a continuous basis, guided by the most pressing needs of assigned functions.
• Develop appropriate working relationships with IT and non-IT target groups in Eurofins. Actively support reuse and sharing within the wider EurIS community.
• Use sound software engineering practices and state-of-art development methodologies – so-called Agile – so as to ensure superior quality.
