We are please to announce that Eurofins Agroscience Services Inc. (USA) has acquired Grayson Research, LLB previously owned by Joel Panara and Tami Belcher.
Based out of North Carolina, Grayson Research provides worker exposure testing and project management services throughout North America. Tami and Joel both become Vice Presidents in the company.
Eurofins Agroscience Services Inc. now boasts wholly owned field facilities in Georgia, Iowa, North Carolina, Florida and California, a dedicated Study management team and a specialised environmental and worker exposure function. Its primary focus will concentrate on actively growing the business over the next 12-18 months.
The US based CRO is a leading provider of field and scientific research services, product development consultancy and technical support to the crop protection industry. Technical activities involve conducting field and laboratory studies to determine the safety and efficacy of new pesticides, agrochemicals and crop varieties.
Founded in the EU, Eurofins Agroscience Services began working in North America in 2006 as a result of a growing demand for CRO’s that are capable of managing development programs across the country. The company aims to adopt a partnership approach with its clients, based on its very successful European model.
“With the continued demand for high quality outsourced regulatory field studies, the US remains our number one priority in the Agroscience sector” explains the Group’s President, Ian Greig. “The addition of Grayson Research to our current operation adds a new dimension to our offering, widening our technical portfolio and gives us a great boost towards achieving our goals.”
Greig adds that “with a common approach to research, concentrating on quality and delivery, we are very enthusiastic about the prospect of working with Joel, Tami and their team. Their residential and occupational exposure testing offers fantastic opportunities on a global perspective whilst their expertise and reputation in project management across the Americas really pulls together our current operations. Where appropriate we can provide a seamless link from the field to our developing pesticide residue capabilities at Eurofins Product Safety Labs in New Jersey, or third party laboratories as required.”
Following the acquisition of Grayson Research, LLB the plan continues with the creation of a nation-wide network of facilities in all of the key regulatory growing areas of North America
