EAS Group announces two new appointments at Senior Management level

New President for EAS Inc., and Group COO announced by Eurofins Agroscience Services
Eurofins Agroscience Services is to strengthen its management team globally with the appointment of two senior staff who will take up their roles on 1st September 2014.
Klaus Kuegler, CEO, said of the appointments "I am pleased to announce that Friedrich Knecht and Cherie Gudz will join us from September 1st 2014. Friedrich will take on the role of COO for Agroscience Services and will be responsible for the Ecotox cluster and the Regulatory Affairs Group with Cherie joining our US team where she will take on the President role."
Friedrich completed his studies at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland with a PhD in Management, and joins EAS from BASF Group where he enjoyed several roles in the crop protection business. He brings with him a wealth of experience in crop protection including business development, marketing, and expertise in global sustainability & product stewardship.
In addition to the Ecotox cluster and Regulatory Affairs Group, Friedrich will manage business growth in Asia Pacific and, after settling into the job, also the Latin American business.
Since obtaining a Bachelor of Science; Biology at Wilkes University, Cherie has gained 20 years of experience in the industry, working as a Laboratory Director and later as a Senior VP. She comes to EAS Inc. from Microbac Laboratories and has a strong financial and personnel management background with over 20 years' experience. Additionally, Cherie also specializes in mergers and acquisitions and will also play a role within the Eurofins Food Group.
